Aaryan Vaishya

Co-president

Aaryan Vaishya is a senior from Middleton High School. He enjoys combinatorics and configuration geometry, and hates number theory for just being elaborate symbol pushing. After making MOP 2025, he has retired to a life of osu! and low elo VALORANT while he tries to find a new passion.

Darsh Patel

Co-president

Darsh Patel is a senior at American Heritage Broward. He began participating in math competitions with MathCounts in middle school, and has since participated in contests like the AMC series and FAMAT. Since 8th grade, he has also had the opportunity to attend HMMT, ARML, and other competitions through FLSAM. His favorite subject in math is number theory, and after that coordinate bashing. Outside of math, he can be found playing online bullet chess, failing to code, and sleeping.

Ashvin Sinha

Vice President

Ashvin Sinha is a junior at Rickards. He has been doing math competitions since 6th grade with MATHCOUNTS and FAMAT, and later AMC and AIME. He joined FLSAM in 7th grade, and his favorite subject is number theory. Since joining FLSAM, he's participated in numerous competitions like ARML, HMMT, and PuMAC. In his free time, he watches the Timberwolves or listens to music.

Jayden Lang

Vice President

Jayden Lang is a senior at American Heritage Broward. He began competing in mathematics in 4th grade and has since participated in many contests, including Mathcounts, AMC, and Mu Alpha Theta. After discovering FLSAM in middle school, Jayden has represented the team at competitions such as HMMT, ARML, and CMIMC. Beyond mathematics, Jayden is passionate about soccer, piano, and chess, and he enjoys trying food and failing at card tricks.

Shivin Anand

Webmaster

Shivin Anand is a senior at Middleton High School. Since the fifth grade, he has competed in math competitions, and his all-time favorite is Fermi. He became a member of FLSAM in the ninth grade and has benefited from all the opportunities it has given him. Two-dimensional geometry is his favorite area of mathematics, and conics are his least favorite. He likes to be play golf, listen to music, and compete in FIRST robotics contests when he's not navigating the world of mathematics.

Jacob Khohayting

Chair of the Curriculum Committee

Jacob Khohayting is a junior at American Heritage Broward. Since elementary school, he has participated in the AMCs and other competitions through FLSAM such as HMMT and PUMaC. He enjoys teaching math and writing problems, particularity on his favorite topics, geometry and numbers theory. Aside from math, Jacob enjoys programming, playing soccer, and listening to music.

Benjamin Jiang

Benjamin Jiang is a Sophomore at Pine View School. He began participating in math competitions during the 2020-21 school year, competing in competitions such as the AMC competition series and Mathcounts as well as several sponsored by FLSAM such as the HMMT and SMT Online starting from 7th grade onwards. His favorite math subject is combinatorics and his hobbies include reading, annoying his friends, losing the game, and failing to count cards.

Roger He

Roger He is a junior at Lawton Chiles High School. He began competing in local Mu Alpha Theta competitions, since then he has competed in AMC and FAMAT. He enjoys number theory, and dislikes geometry. Outside of math, he enjoys rock climbing, music stuff, chess, and sleeping.

Hanfei He

Hanfei is a sophomore at American Heritage Broward. He started competing in 7th grade and has participated in the AMC series and other college competitions. His favorite subject is geometry. Apart from math, Hanfei enjoys playing tennis and piano, and he also loves watching basketball.

George Paret

George Paret is a sophomore at the Frazer School. He began competing in in math competitions like MATHCOUNTS, FAMAT, and the AMC's. He joined FLSAM in ninth grade, and has enjoyed participating in competitions like PUMaC,SMT, CMIMC, and ARML. His favorite subject is algebra a little more than geometry. Other than math, he likes to play chess, cooking, and listening to music.

Joshua Khohayting

Joshua Khohayting is a sophomore at Ransom Everglades High School. He has been participating in math competitions since 6th grade and competes in the AMC series as well as college competitions such as PUMaC, HMMT, and CMIMC through FLSAM. His favorite areas of mathematics are geometry and number theory. Outside of math, he plays club soccer and regularly competes in local and regional tournaments.

Luis Fonseca is a senior at Doral Academy High School. He has been competing since 6th grade in math competitions, but joined FLSAM and started taking competitions more seriously in 8th/9th, and has competed in FAMAT, Mathcounts, AMC series, CMIMC, PUMaC and more. His favorite type of math is number theory and he dislikes most geometry (aphantasia) and he enjoys writing problems and making resources for others. Outside of math, he may be found loudly insulting his friends, napping, procrastinating homework, listening to objectively bad music, gambling (legally), and with his greatest accomplishment (his own words) his girlfriend.

Brayden Choi is a sophomore at Orlando Science High School. Starting middle school, he began competing in numerous math competitions such as Mathcounts, AMC, and AIME. He joined FLSAM in 8th grade, and his favorite topic of math is number theory. Outside of math, he enjoys playing soccer, going to Universal, and playing video games.

Jason Tang is a senior at American Heritage Broward. He has competed in various competitions such as the AMC and MAO series, as well as ARML and CMIMC. His favorite branch of math is geometry. Apart from math, he also likes to study biology, play violin, and procrastinate. Some of his favorite pastimes include playing cards, listening to music, and doing absolutely nothing.
